After studying Business and French at Trinity College, Dublin, I joined the grad programme at KPMG as a Trainee Accountant. I then moved to London where I got into recruitment, spending six years at Sthree. In just five years I was promoted to Business Manager in their perm business, making me the fastest ever to go from Team Lead to Business Manager in Sthree UK. I’ve been at Opus since 2016 and quickly became MD.

I look after London IT Perm and CX, bringing into play my extensive experience and knowledge of the London market.

London is just full of opportunity. There are more technology startups in London than the rest of the UK combined. I love the pace of the market, the ambition of the City and weirdly even the competition – it means you have to be sharp and you have to able to change in line with market trends.

We’re driven by and very focused on meeting the candidates we represent to ensure we are matching them in terms of both cultural fit and technology background. In fact, we get a lot of positive feedback about it. In my experience, it means the service to our client is better as we are placing candidates who are passionate about the business they are joining and so are more likely to stay.
