Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – Leeds - £40,000 - £50,000

An Azure public cloud experienced Infrastructure Engineer is needed to join a growing IT Consultancy in their Leeds office. (they require 1 person in Leeds and another in Manchester)
This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing IT Consultancy who have been doubling in size year on year for the past few years and have still gone through successful growth during current Covid times.

Coming into the Professional Services team you will focus on working with External clients on their Public Cloud needs and work in a really friendly and fast paced environment that can offer a lot of career progression as they continue to grow.
The Role:
  • As part of the Professional Services team you will be solely project focussed working with SME and Mid sized businesses on end to end Public Cloud projects.
  • Focussing on Azure and the full M365 suite (including OneDrive, Sharepoint, Teams etc)
  • You will work with clients from requirement gathering, planning project delivery and through to implementation.
  • You will share your technical knowledge within the team, mentor juniors and have a can do attitude.
  • You will spend approx. 30% of your time on clients sites in the local area (its rare you would need to stay away from home overnight) along with going into the office and home working.
  • You will work in a very fast paced environment forming part of a highly skilled team of engineers who are passionate about what they do and all have a strong customer service focus.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • You must hold at least 7yrs experience working within an Infrastructure focused role and have strong project experience, ideally working with external clients.
  • You must have experience working on end to end projects personally for at least 2 years
  • You must have strong experience with M365 migrations (from Exchange Online to OneDrive / Teams etc)
  • In-Depth skills with Azure and migrations to IaaS
  • You must hold a wide and varying technical skill set across the full Microsoft Stack –inc various versions of Windows Server, Exchange, Microsoft Cloud Technologies (Azure and O365), SQL, Anti-Virus software, Back up technologies, Virtualisation etc.
  • You must have excellent customer service skills and be experienced at speaking with various external businesses
  • You should have a can do attitude and not be afraid to take on any new challenge
