I am seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join the team and play a pivotal role in supporting the mission.

As a Linux Systems Administrator here, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency, security, and optimal performance. You will work closely with the IT and development teams to implement, configure, and troubleshoot Linux systems and associated technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and systems to ensure their stability and security.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources.
Administer and maintain various Linux distributions, including updates, patches, and security enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support applications and services on Linux platforms.
Perform regular backups and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
Collaborate with the security team to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
Provide technical support and expertise to internal teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or a similar role.
Strong understanding of Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).
Proficiency in shell scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python).
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of networking protocols, configurations, and security best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
