A consulting client of mine has partnered with a global organisation who is hiring multiple SRE’s into multiple teams. They are using cutting edge technology, working on multiple projects and offering a fully remote initial 6-month contract (+ extension).
SKILLS
- Automation/Linux admin (file system, network etc)
- Message queue systems
- K8s administration and deployment
- Expertise in linux/systems admin
- Debugging/troubleshooting skills on application/infrastructure/linux levels
- Exposure to distributed systems
- Knowledge of containers
- Scripting in bash/python
- Devops exposure, CICD pipelines
- Python or Golang coding (nice to have)
- Monitoring tools: grafana, Prometheus etc.
