Senior Data Engineer/Architect

Company Overview:
My client are a growing company in the financial services sector seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer/Architect to join their team. You'll have the chance to work with a diverse group of professionals in a dynamic environment.

Position Overview:
Senior Data Engineer/Architect with expertise in database architecture, administration, integration, and development. This role requires strong SQL skills, experience with big data and real-time data, and proficiency in Python & Microsoft Azure.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of database experience
• Cloud Experience using Azure
• ADF Synapse Databricks Experience 
• Strong knowledge of database architecture, administration, integration, and development
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience with big data and real-time data
• Proficiency in Python

Additional Skills:

• Familiarity with Time Series Database (e.g., OneTick)
• Experience with distributed data storage and NoSQL
• Ability to develop and automate data QA processes
• Proficiency in scripting languages like C++/C, Perl, XML, JSON
• Knowledge of Azure, Data Science, and AI
• Experience in finance or other high-throughput industries (e.g., medical, aviation, automotive, military)
